Recept za koktel Bloody Mary i preporuka za jedan super kuvar!


Kad sam načela ovaj blog, pre tačno 12 godina, nisam imala pojma da će mi on doneti poznanstva koja će prerasti u prava prijateljstva, a neka od njih postati bliska kao sestrinska.

Milkica koju znate sa bloga Mimi's kingdom je moja najbolja drugarica. Imam još nekoliko baš dobrih, koje sam stekla tokom blogovanja, ali Milkica je bff, iz hiljadu razloga.

Na primer.

Oduševljeno listam Američki kuvar koji je napisala zajednička drugarica Ivana, autorka bloga So i biber. Zovem Milkicu da joj predložim da napravimo celodnevnu radionicu i spremimo doručak, ručak i večeru po receptima iz Ivaninog kuvara, i sve to zajedno fotografišemo, pa kasnije objavimo serijal postova i na svojevrstan način promovišemo knjigu. Ona se uzvrpoljila više od mene i samo pita - KAD? KAD?!

Ako ikad posumnjate u neko prijateljstvo, samo proverite da li i dalje delite istu strast prema temama koje su vas inicijalno spojile, i još bitnije - da li možete zajedno raditi, čak i kad ništa materijalno od toga nemate.

Ako je odgovor DA - to je to.


O Ivani

Ivana Lalicki već dugo sa mužem i dvoje dece živi i radi u Americi, u Baltimoru. 

Deset godina piše blog So i biber i totalni je foodie, a to znate šta je - neko ko ima istinsku strast prema hrani, ne samo u smislu uživanja u jelu, već na mnogo različitih načina. Od stalnog istraživanja, edukacije, preko uzgoja, pripreme, serviranja, stilizovanja, fotografisanja...

Ivana je svestrana  - završila je istoriju umetnosti, bavi se marketingom, voli jogu, vožnju bajsom i baštovanstvo.

Oduševljena sam bila kad sam čitala Ivanin tekst o urbanom baštovanstvu - malim baštama koje Amerikanci prave u gradu. Kao ponosna vlasnice jedne mini bašte u svom zadnjem dvorištu, dala je smernice za start, savete, spisak biljaka pogodnih za gajenje u ovim uslovima...

Još jedna tema koju je Ivana sa velikom strašću obradila je - Veliki narodni kuvar.

Znate već da sam i sama fan te knjižurine, da sam isprobala svašta, da sam bila saučesnik u osnivanju igre za food blogere Patin petnaesti... Sve u vezi sa Patinim kuvarom volim i nigde nisam videla da se neko pozabavio njime kao što je uradila Ivana u ova dva teksta.

O Američkom kuvaru

Većina Srba ima predrasudu da je američka kuhinja nezdrava. To je tačno koliko i netačno, isto kao sa svakom generalizacijom. Amerika je fuzija raznih kultura i ukusa i jedino što je zaista nezdravo je - preterivanje.

Preterivanje u upotrebi industrijske hrane, kao i preterivanje u količinama bilo koje hrane.

A toga i u lokalu imamo u izobilju, znate i sami.

Američki kuvar

Ivanin kuvar je zbirka od stotinak recepata za slana i slatka jela iz raznih delova Amerike, gde svaki ima uvod koji vas upoznaje sa zanimljivostima američke kulture ili istorijom tog konkretnog jela. 

Meni je već na prvo listanje bilo super što sam za većinu recepata imala utisak da nisu "strani", tj. odmah sam mogla da pogodim da će se i nama svideti, jer su mi delovali bliski nepcu balkanskome. 

Sadržaj je podeljen na doručak, ručak, večeru, party food, poslastice, napitke i posebno interesantnu sekciju - homemade, koja nudi recepte za neke stvari koje Amerikanci obožavaju, ali retko prave već uvek kupuju gotovo, tipa sajder, marshmallow, kikiriki puter...

Podatke o ceni i načinu poručivanja imate ovde i ja vam toplo preporučujem da knjigu pribavite što pre, dok je na sniženju. Sve što sam pravila i/ili probala je bilo super!

Nakon što smo se Miki i ja dogovorile da napravimo radionicu, usledili su dani listanja kuvara, odabira recepata, dogovaranja, diskutovanja o stajlingu, podlogama, čašama, tanjirima...

A onda i naš dan :)

Vreo, julski.

Milkica je stigla kod mene ujutru, dok još nije upeklo. Osim hrane, donela je i predivan buket raznog cveća iz svoje bašte (mnogo mi se sviđa kako ruže i suncokreti izgledaju zajedno!), čaše, krpice, laptop... 

Spavaću sobu smo pretvorile u studio.

Na bračnom krevetu napravile "izložbu" tanjira. činija, krpica i ostalih gadget-a, da nam budu pri ruci.

Ikea stočić raskrčile i dovukle što bliže prozoru, da na njemu radimo.

Skinule prekrivač sa kreveta iz dečije sobe i njime zastrle sto, jer nam se dopao kao podloga na kojoj ćemo sve fotkati, koja će biti vizuelni najmanji zajednički za ceo serijal, pošto je plav i ima bele zvezdice, kao gornji levi deo američke zastave.  

Među mnoštvom krpica izdvojile dve gaze, jednu bojenu u plavo, drugu belu, da ostanemo u bojama podloge, a da ipak unesemo još tekstura i atmosfere.

Postavile jedan aparat na stativ, a drugi ostavile za slikanje iz ruke. 

Lap-top posadile na stolicu i prikačile na aparat sa stativa, za slikanje u tethered modu. 

I krenule!

Krvava Meri je napitak koji je vervovatno bio prikladniji za veče nego za jutro, ali Miki i ja smo dan načele upravo njim, pre doručka, da nazdravimo :)

Bladi Meri 


Sastojci za 2 čaše:
60 ml votke
180 ml soka od paradajza
2 kašike soka od limuna
2 kašičice Worcester sosa
2 kašičice kremastog rena *
prstohvat sveže samlevenog bibera
prstohvat krupne soli

i još
kockice leda, za serviranje
grančice lisnatog celera, za dekoraciju

Postupak:
Pomešati sve sastojke. U čaše od 2.5 dl sipati led do polovine čaše, pa naliti koktel. Posuti odozgo sa još malo sveže mlevenog bibera. Zadenuti u svaku čašu po jedan struk lisnatog celera, kao dekoraciju i grickalicu.

Napomene:
- Kremasti ren je npr. ono što pravi Centroproizvod. On je dosta blaži nego sirov, izrendisan i zakišeljen ren, koji se može naći na pijacama. A može i taj, ko ima i sme :)
- Naš koktel nije intenzivno crven, jer smo koristilie Milkičin domaći kuvani paradajz. Ako želite jaču boju, onda uzmite  Tomatino / Tomatelo / to nešto...
